doom ii [windows doom] was a good game a pretty good game yes it was i agree
but Brutal Doom, a mod nonetheless, took it all to a new level,
do you remember your mom flashing disapproving looks at you emptied lead into zombies and demons

well i dont think she would very much appreciate you beating the shit out of a zombie, kicked it in its balls, tearing off its limbs by hand as if you were tortured by the cast of mortal kombat, stomping in its skull then giving it the finger [all of which you can do]

so dont you dare play this metal level of badass around your mother

seriously this /mod/ takes a masterpiece and turns it into a god damned masterpiece [heheh get it]
you turn into hank wimbleton or some shit if you get the berserk powerup, YOU CAN LITERALLY RIP DEMONS APART

i mean, it alters the game, and dareissay engine so much it might as well be a different game altogether
it makes you FEEL PITY for the minions of hell over your overant bad-assery you can like throw flying skulls and shit and use them as grenades, sneak up on someone and snap their neck, shoot of their legs or arms, burn them alive and watch them scream and run around crazily before they finally drop as a burnt crispy husk, literally slice them in half [horizontally or vertically] with the chainsaw, and get those guns that renevant and mancubus use, that like bigass flame thrower and dual rocket launchers, and i don't know if this is in the original doom as i could never get that far, but you get allies that actually engage in conversation with you

i actually use to play doom with a polish friend of mine every now and then
each time we tried to play it was filled with difficulties on actually trying to play it because all the multiplayer shit is as ancient as the game and is kind of stupid to navigate but we'd eventually get in
