android isn't 'buggy' if the only thing you use is the proprietary starting apps

once you go a little deeper though? its a fucking mess, the userland is a lovecraftian monstrocity using some hacked the fuck up Linux kernel vivisected with bloated google code and some kind of weird ass GNU replacement

it's hard to see the bugs on the surface but it's hell underneath and the problem is when the hellish part bugs out fixing it is VERY difficult

like you would know about androids bugs mr uses a budget tablet once and calls every android ever laggy         

i also don't get what mega's deal with android is. i think his deal is with verizon being a shitty behind the times company who thinks its okay to sell dumbphones to unsuspecting customers and never giving updates to android for some retarded reason

the razr m had the potential to be a decent phone but verizon just shat all over that whole line. my sister had the hd and it was gay as hell after a few months mostly because of the appalling shit she installed on it but partly because of verizon being gay and putting like 12 bloat apps on it

the only way to avoid bugs in non-server linux is to use a heavily backported enterprise system like RHEL or debian stable with old ass mother fucking software. debian squeeze ran FIREFOX 3 for shit's sakes (actually iceweasel 3 but you get my point)

also sorry to tell ya but malware isn't much of a thing anymore since everything is over-secure these days, haxors prefer to target companies and databases so they can get a shitton of infoz at once instead of just picking off random dumbasses which is way less effecient
