i can't be assed to read your whole constitution act so i just read the charter and i cried manly tears when i got to the part about "aboriginals will be unaffected" holy shit fuck you president jackson it's like canada is if america was cold and never fucked itself over after seven presidencies

the thing is our constitution was completely rewritten back in the 80s so it's a bit more appealing to modern times whereas yours comes from 300 years ago

also we have the appending clause which means that if there's something we don't like in the constitution we can change it (but it's not easy) whereas the US constitution is set in stone

the supreme court was created to interpret and change the law (including the constitution) over time so it could adapt dont take everything fd's saying about the us at face value
