I've been using skydrive a lot lately and it is so cool

idk about windows 7 but on 8 it's really well integrated to the OS it's practically just a directory on your computer, you can drag and drop stuff to it (or upload from the app) seamlessly. i'll have skydrive open on my surface and upload a photo from my desktop and boom it's right there on my surface, no hastle or anything. it just werks

you can also have a file 'linked' to skydrive and your hard drive so you don't need to re-upload a file after updating it (eg a document), it just does it automagically

Microsoft added 3GB storage space to all existing accounts for the move. I can totally handle a new name for that kind of deal.

3GB storage? it can handle a lot actually. i have some 300 odd uploads on my drive and it's only used 1% of my default storage. apparently skydrive compresses everything in tha cloud so that you can squeeze in a lot more

does that count

not using cloud storage makes more sense when you don't have multiple ~devices~ but otherwise it is a great thing to have

most of mine are running windows 8 so skydrive makes the most sense since skydrive just werks on w8
