my argument is valid

its harder to forget a password when it's drilled into your permanent memory, much harder than losing a physical item

also not keeping physical notebooks with encrypted passwords in them

strengths and weaknesses


any cloud based shit has the tendency to fuck up due to the company fucking it up somehow and while it is a slim chance you can have sign-in problems

you can get a 64 gigabyte usb stick (or multiple sticks) on a string that never has such problems but it is also a tangible object that can be physically lost


i prefer option 2

sign in problems? maybe in 2004, even if the primary server is down they still keep backups all over the place

also the benefit of cloud computing is your data is never actually lost the company 'fucking it up' never ever happens
