adwaita is as pretty as ever, though

that's so pointless look at that shader shit there's that threshold where you don't need to toss shit on just for the fuck of it

it's like with aero the glass effect is pretty but you can only really see the glass in certain circumstances otherwise it's just a blurred window to see your desktop background

also the "menu" looks weird as fuck on a desktop

on 12.04 you could apt-get purge it but not here

the most i can do is unpin it from the menus and turn off internet results (see the privacy thing)

i'm using 12.04 LTS right now and it's way better, there's less dumb glassy bullshit and it runs faster

it gets security updates and maitenence until fuckin' 2017, the only OS that has a longer release cycle is solaris which goes on for something rediculous like fifteen years
