one of the first few levels of the attila the hun campaign in age of empires 2
one part there is a catapult surrounded by walls and it requires its destruction and i lost more than half my men trying to break down the wall to kill the catapult

the 2nd level in paper mario TTYD holy fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck

The Sacred Grounds / Blood-Stained Sanctuary in Cave Story. All of your weapons get down to level 1 (which sucks if you don't have the Nemesis or the Spur) you have to go through 2 really hard platforming levels and one part that just throws the strongest mooks in the game at you.

Then you have to fight 5 bosses all in one go with no checkpoints and barely any health refill's and if you die once on any part of this you have start at the very beginning. Also you have to do it in order to get the best ending.

The only good thing about the level was the good soundtrack that it had

water hazard on my first time playing HL2 (but it was exceptionally good the 2nd time around)

what le fuck one of the primary focuses on HL2 was for the user to instinctually know where to go and what to do even in tight spots without big signs saying HAY GO HERE DUDE

i loved it when you got the minigun attached onto your airboat and the chopper that was just following you before comes out without knowing you're armed to the teeth and gets blown the fuck up

its annoying as shit because the most common enemies are giant bugs that when you hit them lightning comes out everywhere and fire skeletons which are like the most powerful fucking things in the game and theyre always killing me

though i found out how to kill the lightning bugs

2nd levels in games always blow

the devs just assume 'lol ok i guess they know what theyre doing now' and throw level 32823974894772 shit at you to try and fend off with your wooden sword
