3. annihilated my fucking drivers (including wireless internet)
   
4. made the drivers i installed that were promptly destroyed impossible to reinstall

synaptic had useful features like system upgrades, downgrading/upgrading packages, dependancy resolution and other things all put into an easy to use GUI application

i figured since it's labelled "stable" i'd still have the same old debian i was using with squeeze but just with some updated applications and a new kernel but it fucked absolutely everything

now i wanna get my fedora GRUB boot menu back
