programming

i want to eventually make softwarez but i don't have the skills to do it

what projects are you working on or would like to work on if you had the knowhow

once i finally get my copies SICP and the c programming language i want to start off by making a basic image viewer type thing, sorta like feh but even more barebones

if this is your first time you're going to have a lot of work cut out for you before you make a picture viewer unless you want to use every retarded api ever or Qt

depending on how you make it that might actually be as simple as a few lines

which is why i wanna do it, it seems basic enough

maybe make it so if you hit the left or right button it goes to the next/previous/whatever image and that's about it
