every three to four pages is a grading "stop point", whereat i go find the answer key and see if i fucked anything up along the way. if i did, i mark the problem and go fix it (away from the score key). if it's still not fixed, i keep trying. i can't go on until i get this shit down.

every three grading points is a two-page mini test called a checkup, which is like a summary of the last ten pages

after i complete the work book, i take that workbook's associated test. for example, if i complete english book #1086, i take english test 1086. before taking the test, it's recommended to read over the checkups in the packet, because it's basically just a reciting of those. if i cock up the test, i do the entire packet again. if i complete it, on to the next




sounds kind of complex on paper but damn if it isnt a flexible system

edit: oh also i turn in the books/tests every month so they can give me more
sometimes i get more than one of a single class's book so i can work ahead. if i were inclined, i could complete all of it in a day, because it's a work-at-your-own-pace system

winamp can do pretty much anything you want it to do, it's completely extensible. anything that's not off the default can probably be added with plugins

you can encode music into image files and play images in it for one thing.
