experience with oracle solaris
experience with win server 2003
experience with RHEL
experience with SLE (optional but helps, europe doesn't give a fuck about RHEL and loves SLE and america is vice versa)
know some kind of low-level programming language (corps don't give a FUCK about python/ruby/haskell/java/any other fucking hipster neo ubuntu bullshit your grandma could write)
put 'interested in technology and want to learn more' in your resume for at least a 100% chance at getting bare minimum a tour of the facility

that's it

this is assuming you want to get into the respectable side of the business and not the fucking stupid "companies that make fisher price toys cleverly disguised as electronics" side eg apple microsoft samsung google etc.
