lindicks review #4: archbang

Archbang is a distro made with the noble purpose of pissing off the Arch devs to the highest possible extent. it's basically a preconfigured arch linux that successfully magnets ubuntu/mint users to the arch/skiddie scene so that they can further shit up archlinux forums with questions like "how the fuck do use apt-get on arch". truly, it is the finest distro on the market. arch's devs have gotten so sick of their shit that they now ban archbang users on sight, although it's almost impossible to detect an archbang user just from their described system since it's almost a complete carbon copy

archbang is actually legitimately good if you don't want to waste hours setting up regular arch, straight off of the install sitting idle uses ~80 MBs of RAM and using firefox only kicks that to about 100, to give an idea.

USABILITY
7/10

AB is all good and preconfigured so getting used to the environment won't take much time at all. not recommended for an absolute beginner but an intermediate user will be able to navigate fairly enough

in interest of ram consumption it is acceptable but for design purposes its lame and a sign designers have gotten lazy
