1. linux sucks cock on desktop (fuck me but i thought gnome 2 looked nice on my dad's skidtop but it's not in support any more so yea)
2. ms abandoned the desktop
3. mac "looks weird" on desktop

they're right though, laptops definitely outsell desktops and most people like their devices to be portable

when i got my type cover i thought i'd be using the track-pad for everything but i rarely ever, i'm all touch

i'd actually like to get one of those all-in-one desktop thingamajiggers just to get some extra space on my desk..

it's not like the all in ones are forcing you to type on the screen, you can still use a keyboard and mouse but the touch is there if you wanna do it

any laptop that can play games effectively has a battery life of like 30 minutes (see alienware bullshit) which renders the whole 'laptop' thing pointless. not to mention laptops that can play games are much more expensive than equivalently powered desktops

laptops are deprecated - tablets, hybrids and cellphones are the way to go for casual users :3
