but should we use all of our resources for a socialist regime is the pressing question; sure we can, but is it in our best interest to do such a thing

i don't see the workforce bitching too much anymore, as many have no reason to complain. a well paying, safe, and clean job is all of what the typical american wanted. however, unions play an invariable role in making sure companies don't abuse their workers, which isn't complaining/bitching as you're making it out to be

so making a giant, universal monopoly is going to solve this? we have laws on the books to make sure monopolies that do not benefit the consumer for being a monopoly, so this isn't too much of a problem today
