can anybody describe to me what having a real best friend is like? like not just some guy you know who gives you rides sometimes and shares minimal interests with you, and what interests they share they have bad views on. whats it like to have a buddy to hang out with every day, or maybe a group of people where you always feel accepted

Well, difference in interests is only really a problem if a lot of what they do revolves around those interests.

In relation to them liking imgur, the thing about real friends is that you can get over stupid shit like that.
There's loads of shit that I hate that my best friend loves and vice-versa but we don't let that bother us.
If they like shit you don't like then you'll have to get over that and learn to be a friend to your friends.

So, since you apparently don't consider them your friends anyway can you describe your actual friends? That would help.

yeah i never hang out with anybody really... all i do is sit at home and play eve because what they do disinterests me. cons are pretty much the only times we hang out
