don't you regularly check the IP address of everyone who attends OTX anyway?

not really it took us 2 months to figure out that jay was pretending to be someone else on OTR

also that info on forums is reserved to admins only whereas everyone can see it on the wiki if you edit anonymously

your IP being public isnt usually a big deal in the first place though
