some sort of odd shit nintendo has for next generation

apparently iwata wants this kind of universal os, which would run on the next handheld and console. i guess it would allow the games to be easily ported from each other with lower or higher graphics by having both run on the same powerpc architecture since the gamecube (handheld to console, vice versa)

it seems great and may allow the next handheld to get some scaled down console ports from third parties, only if we're reaaallllllllly lucky though

the specifics aren't really confirmed so don't be surprised if this ends up being wrong in a year or two

they're not releasing a new console yet silly

they're working on the console once this generation is over

the wii u was in it's planning stages straight after wii's release

lol wii u has tons of games and 5 million sales, what did the virtual boy have? it was easy to abandon. wii u isn't

they shouldn't use powerpc any more, they're literally the only company to still use it. sure it's what they know and all that but their next systems should be x86 or arm.
