it's really annoying to me because these hockey teams have players with potential but they go nowhere because they're in cities where nobody cares about hockey. and then they get butthurt when the team moves like "THAT WAS OUR SOURCE OF PRIDE!!" if it was your source of pride you would have backed them ya big jerks

the debacle between atlanta and winnipeg is a fantastic example of that. atlantans still cant get over 'losing their team' when nobody in atlanta gave a rip about the thrashers in the first place, meanwhile winnipeg loves their team to death and they've been doing way better than they were in georgia

the guy who owned them awhile ago was planning to privately sell them to hamilton, ontario but the NHL didnt enjoy that

they were supposed to move to another city in 2013 or something, and it was gonna be seattle if it had happened but it didnt

really to be honest the coyotes are a laughing stock although the florida panthers are probably the worst team in the NHL
