today i went bike riding and i guess a combination of poor weather conditions (tons of wind in my face, muddy trail, ect) plus my general out-of-shape-ness led me to just completely lose the ability to ride my bike after awhile. i just collapsed i was exhausted. i didnt even hurt and wasnt anything more than frustrated with myself i just couldn't go any further

i went back to mom's bfs place and napped for half an hour right after

ive been able to go out in the middle of winter and do the whole thing before idk whats up

when i was younger and lived down in the lower mainland i was one of those 'bike kids'. took mine everywhere with me so i've always been excellent at cycling

there's this big motherfucking hill up by where i live and goddamn that is exhausting to head up though. i usually just walk up it because it's brutal

although i really need to bike more so i can get back in shape this also serves as an argument against biking anywhere to get somewhere, ill collapse from exhaustion before i get there
