my idea is to counteract the whole 'uhh type delete(game) and you win' idea by adding different categories

your program deletes the hard drive? that's nice you get maximum destruction but your detectability and preventability is super high - if you make some kind of hypervisor or a rootkit then it stays low but you use up resources

maybe like different 'weights'? heavyweight programs can have unlimited 'resources' and take up unlimited size but the possibilities are endless and on the opposite end featherweight programs have to be ultra tiny and can only use certain functions of the game language

mixing it up and also tossing in a cash factor would make a really cool game even though it promotes VIRUESES

ohh but that would be really cool if there was a way for you to completely scramble the enemy's program so the lines get randomized in order (loops stay the same but individual lines get swapped around) but that kind of treads towards an rpg or puzzle game but that's also cool

king of the hill eventually got old it was just the same old stuff
