Google knows you have nowhere else to go. They spent a lot of time and resources to build G+ from the ground up, and it's not going anywhere no matter how much you bitch about it. You want things to change? Take action and stop using YouTube. But most people are not going to do that and soon everyone will be quiet and get used to it.
