pokemon x and y has a new type

steel and dark were introduced in gen 2 to nerf psychic because being a psychic type made you practically invincible (your only threats were bug and ghost, bug types being weak as shit and the only ghost types in gen 1 were ghastly/haunter/gengar which were part poison), it made sense to add them

why the fuck are they doing this

From what i understand they are adding this type because dragon type doesn't have enough weaknesses

Currently , Dragon Type has and advantage over Dragon Type and that's it

although yeah dragon type does defenitely have a typing advantage

I haven't played pokemon since B/W 2 was disappointing

i played around a bit with B/W2 and it wasn't too bad. why was it disappointing?

I dunno it just felt odd to me
When i played it i just didn't enjoy the same way i did with the B/W 1

It was alright but it felt like a way to sputter out one last game on the DS before they made X and Y

i think pokemon wasn't exactly designed with balance in mind anyways
