how do people know if someone's been downvoting all of their comments/submissions? are people on that site so depraved that they're actually memorizing how many points their comments have?

people on reddit actually insist that their site isn't a huge fucking karma circlejerk

yes they look through all of their comments from what i've seen and when they have a low amount of upvotes they assume 'the downvote fairy' is after them

I have no clue why but for some reason people get something (for the lack of a better word) from it
