i don't think firefox was the worst thing on my netbook but iirc yours is lower spec than mine so chromium may be just your best bet

if mozilla released something like 'mozilla mini' which would be firefox but stripped down so it doesnt shit blood on netbooks their market share would increase 50000%

i tried to install gentoo a while ago and but had to quit midway through because it was taking fucking long (on gentoo you compile EVERYTHING)

firefox has a dumb fucking proprietary licsense that basically says 'you cant modify this source code and put mozilla branding on'

and by "take so fucking long" i mean after about 8 or 9 hours it was 15% done

i left it on overnight and woke up and saw it still compiling so i was like "fuck you" and pulled out my USB stick that had the install ISO burned on and watched the error messages flow

ottd should set up a globally networked compiler farm and collectively compile the leaked source of windoze 2000 with "windows" replaced with "gay"
