There's multiple organisations that call themselves the IRA.
The Provisional IRA, which were the big boys among all the other IRAs during the troubles, disbanded eight years ago because they believed they achieved enough through violence and wanted to pursue more democratic methods.


The shit going on now-a-days is very minor in comparison, the occasional bomb being confiscated from either Republican or Loyalist terrorist organisations and so on.

The major thing going on up in the North now would be the Union Jack protests.

The loyalists are protesting because Belfast City Council decided that the Union Jack shouldn't be flown every single day at I think was a PSNI building.
