The one time I did I had a seizure.

The awesome part was that I donated in a church

when it was over and I was leaving my foster mom looks at me and says

well you have to fast yourself so no eating before going, which is why i went early in the morning

and thats basically it! also you need to get a test done way before to make sure you dont have AIDS or some other blood-transferred disease

When you donate blood, you're already depleting your body's energy, because your cardiovascular system will have to work twice as hard to replenish the blood that you've donated. Eating and hydrating are two of the most important steps to donating blood successfully.

no i'm just saying that most of the doctors i've been to have recommended fasting before giving blood.
