I FINALLY INSTALLED HAIKU

well this is fucking horrible

im trying to play CD audio and i've been rendered to just mounting the CD and playing it in the thing's audio player like a giant faggot

amazingly it has better hardware support than GNU/linux (it recognized my CD drive instead of going retard and forcing me to use my USB one) but that barely excuses being exhaustingly shitty

another annoyance is that the fscking resolution is tits up and a lot of the shortcuts im used to (ctrl+v comes to mind) aren't present in favor of whatever monstrocities BeOS used

wow ok it crashed on me AGAIN so i was like "fuck you" and now im installing slackware like a real man

and that was my experience with using haiku

also it completely fucked my partition table

actually fuck you im reinstalling again for shits and giggles (couldnt install slackware because lol befs, had to put the haiku install disk in to format it since its the only thing to recognize its gay filesystem)

its go time

i WILL make this shit work

the nice thing about haiku is it boots in, like, three seconds, so all the crashing isnt too huge of an issue

they say it runs beautifully on raspberry pis

installed it again lol

i had to do a button shutoff because i sent it into safe mode to get da resolution so now im all autistic about perofrmacneee but whatevs

it's pretty nice abeit buggy (also takes like five minutes to install holy shit)

gonna post "fuck i love dicks" every time it crashes

i can deal with the crashing since i live life on the edge anyways

downloading some of dat nichijou, gonna see how this shit performs with video playback
