remember when calculators did little more than basic addition/multiplication/subtraction/division, took 30 seconds to process and cost a bazillion dollars, then all of a sudden they can do fucking everything and ones that fit in your pocket cost a dollar? that'll probably happen with 3D printers, they'll get all refined and then we can do shit like that

ya i love 3d printers because they're the first steps for humanity in creating shit from raw materials and then fucking atoms so you could like print a laptop out and buy silicon cartridges and stuff but right now $5000 for a super slow and expensive printer is not something that is going mainstream
