i remember when xiexie made a proto-otx back in 08 and did a sort of forum spam pyramid scheme where he'd give adminship and mod abilities to people who made a certain number of posts advertising

the search function is really broken though, it only works if the thing you're searching for is said twice in the same post and even then it only sometimes works

i squeezed out adminship and then proceeded to obliterate the forum it was my inspiration for purging OTB

the host sucked and didnt have backups so it died after my stint
