extra credits seems that for this vid their heads were completely up their asses and delusional at times at what is best for EA, especially about EA's "vision" from their past

overall though it makes a good point that this kind of marketing really does hurt the industry though

These guys clearly were ingesting tons of nostalgia fumes, both with all that shit from the 90's or whenever that EA probably said to make themselves look good. He then used marketing examples i don't think anyone gave a shit about, like the dante's inferno thing and the dead space 2 commercials which were actually successful on EA's part.

people get so upset when EA does anything at all and im not sure why i mean yeah they did kill a few good franchises but it was all in the name of the greater good so i dont see an issue here

well im under the impression that the sim city rage had a lot to do with how sim city 4 was literally one of the best games period and really can't be topped especially due to the literally hundreds of thousands of user made buildings and mods

ea was pretty much screwed in that regard
