every medieval rpg style is almost regretfully the same [even the gods at bethesda can be monotonous with this shit -- the magic system has relatively been the same and you've reused the same creatures, maybe with like 5 exceptions]

speaking of awful flash games am i the only one that finds it odd how the internet is FUCKING CLOGGED WITH THEM i mean fucking seriously go on some generic flash game site like fog.com (the worst of them all) and you will find TOO GOD DAMNED MANY GAMES OF THIS GODAWFUL LAGGY GENRE, WHO THE HELL IS MAKING THESE, THERE ARE LIKELY MORE OF THESE THAN THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE OF ASIA AND AMERICA COMBINED GOD DAMN THIS MAKES ME FUCKING FURIOUS SUCH WASTED TALENT I MEAN WHO THE HELL IS GOING TO PLAY SOME BULLSHIT LIKE "UPHILL SLIDE" OR "DRESS UP NIGGER BARBY" AND THAT KIND OF SHIT GOD DAMN but there are some really good flash games and flash game makers out there (nitrome is gods. project nexus is still cool but the sequel will be much better as it is not being made with flash)

despite my plans to make a spooky psychological horror in the next year or two, horror is a fucking stupid genre in videogames and imo the only ones to successfully pull it off were probably silent hill, and they're not even scary
hell im more fuckin scared of the ghost level in sm64 and the first boss of altered beast than most the shit in doom and resident evil
my main beef with this is subtly [which i plan to put in my project], when you pick up a horror game, you expect to be scared, even with fuggin jumpscares n such
if they were like real horror, and look innocent or something, til' you get halfway through the game or situation then shit goes to hell with your best friend getting ripped apart by some unholy bile abombination, then maybe it stands a chance

mmo = shit because they're always filled with illiterate fags that always beg you to help them n shit and clog the chats with bullshit no one cares about and completely irrelevant

there's lots of them still being made but it's mostly casualized stuff for iPhone that isn't really anything you can enjoy like an actual arcade game
