i think xbox one has support for more than one player even with the kinect enabled

but yea that's bullshit for sony to try and pull that off

i'm not sure i think you have to be registered on xbox live to play any sort of online game at your bud's but co-op games and competitive completely local games are off the hook, just like on ps4 which doesn't matter because completely local multiplayer gameplay doesn't exist any more
