linux is something like 26 million lines of code now do you think they can really audit it all?

freeBSD had a backdoor injected into a tiny little system program and it went unnoticed for years. same with debian

plus there was the backdoor attempt back in 2004 where one little equal sign would give a user running a specialized program root access:

the NSA has free access to pretty much everything there's no way they haven't sprinkled their magic in Linux yet although zealots will deny it because apparently being "open source" is some magical deflector against any kind of backdoor even when its an obvious target for by far the world's most powerful organization

it wouldnt even matter though because the NSA already has pretty much all the hardware bugged
