first, i kept compiling the source to a library i needed to modify (it itself is a port of a different library so it was missing some features that i needed to add) but it somehow was running on the old libraries that i completely deleted - then after retrying everything and re-adding then removing the libraries the third time around it suddenly worked

after i fixed that i noticed i was low on hard disk space again and i just realized that progressively over time i have been running out of hard disk space for no discernible reason which makes me concerned

the fuck:
1.57gb - 11:50 PM
1.5gb - 11:57 PM
1.5gb - 12:04 AM
-- started processing opencv to run all night --
1.17gb - 9:44 AM
-- stopped opencv turret --
943mb - 10:02 AM

jesus christ unencrypt the hard drive and check every folders filesize to see which one has 9897867GB and then do the same thing. process of elimination motherfucker until you find that shit and delete it and whatever's making it. remember to use shift+del
