actual discussion of casuals

the guy is having a shitfit over the fact that people are playing flappy bird and not streets of rage or games that involve more than rhythmic tapping and it got me to thinking

why

why would casuals rather play candy crush than bejeweled, why would casuals want to play a game that steals like 70% of its assets from mario, why would casuals want to play fucking farmville, and not other games like zelda and gundam and finfan and cave story and all that shit

it doesn't make any sense to me, most of the "non-casual" games are just as accessible as casual games

btw totelley selling my galaxy nexus with flappy bird installed when my two year contract ends

ok not everyone is a xxTRUGAMERxx but why do they want to play candy crush and not something you know fun? a level of candy crush takes about the same time as a level of mario and both of them are immediately accessible and easy but one of them is actually entertaining and a good, original game

i think it's just bad taste and casual games being on more convenient platforms like fayfaybook and smertpharn

im pretty sure the people who play candy crush think it's fun otherwise they wouldnt be playing it

these people you call a "casual gamer" that play unoriginal games they may find fun in playing these games. i don't find fun in playing these games myself i play to compete with my family.

well obviously they think it's fun but why do they refuse to try and play anything else. if somebody tells them a game that isn't farmville is fun and that they would enjoy it, if they actually DO get around to playing it they pretend they don't like it and that games are for kiddos

I'm a level 200 hardcore gamer, which allows me to enjoy games that are much higher on the fun scale, like Team Fortress 2.

the gameplay is similar to bejeweled but it's got a lot of differences /b/rother

also another thing is bejeweled costs money whereas candy crush is free. why pay when you can get the same deal for nothing? simple free market enterprise
