u have no clue what your talking about nerd openBSD isn't dying it's pretty widely deployed (especially for security purposes) the devs just need money to keep the project going because theyre not getting any income and it costs a ton of money for them to run the project (cuz its so widely used)

and your completely forgetting freebsd which is huge

needing money doesn't mean it's 'dying'. what it means is that the team is going to find some other way to distribute their OS with less load on themselves

i think if bsd rehomogenized it'd probly go back to shit-speed development (which is only about three notches below where it's currently at) for one reason or another

freebsd is a big deal

also even if openbsd went to hell it likely wouldnt affect other BSD projects' development, or it might even improve them

keep in mind openbsd is a superproject for openssh, pf, etc
