ive never played brawl but ive always wanted to

damn i accidentally clicked ssbm i meant to click ssbb. that game is the best, especially if playing on a wii with homebrew because then you can get custom characters. i have a cheat enabled that when you make sonic have color palette 4 he becomes shadow with chaos control and other cool attacks. and he has a better, CONTROLLABLE final smash

i played SSBB ONCE at a con and got so hyper over it because i had zero idea how to control the character or even which character i was controlling so clearly i am qualified to vote in this poll;

we played like five rounds and i could never tell how i was doing
once apparently i controlled one of two characters on the screen so i mashed buttons till my fingers hurt

this is one of those things literally everybody knows about cuz they "grew up with nintendo" and im over here, the dude who started video games at 11 with a PS2 and a crappy game because we were poor and isolated from the rest of the world in the 90s and have no idea about any of this stuff

i remember watching one of those ELITE PRO SSBM gaymes on youtube and half of the game was them trying to keep themselves from falling off the map like star fox using that speed thing+fire thing and kirby's float puff thing, etc.

i too would like it if SSB was a purely balanced game where every character is at equal with other characters but it isn't and likely never will be

the Project M addon to SSBB does a really damn good job at making every character balanced though, some do still have advantages/disadvantages but they're not as skewed as SSBM/SSBB
