i wont stop doodling in paint but for more serious stuff a more serious program would be great because paint is pretty difficult to go with since its only one layer

All those painters from the Renaissance were working with "one layer", and they didn't have an undo key either.

well i mostly use gimp paint studio but you can also use mypaint/krita?

havent tried kirita but mypaint glitches the fuck out when i ctrl+z. the pen lines become super choppy and lagged suddenly

there's also fire alpaca which is free though that's just for anime artists like with paint tool sai, you can make really good lines with it
