the mobile marketplace is so saturated with pie-in-the-sky "developers" who think they'll get rich off of their shitty "app" that your program will only get even slight recognition if it's a dollar or less, in which case you'll be making no money

basically too much competition has dropped the prices to a point where profit is impossible and all these idiots have royally fucked themselves over

this is all because of shitty game engines and im gonna make a short rant on why

back in the day any game you wanted to make was limited by your research and development costs and times and developers actually making it all work it was a fucking challenge - if you wanted to make a game unlike any other or a new genre you'd probably take four years to make the whole thing and most likely it would fucking flop because le gaymers are picky motherfuckers

you could still argue today that companies need to devote a lot of time into making pee see and console gayms but all of that bullshit indie game shit like 'super meat boy' and fuckin 'fez' and 'minecraft' and shit are all games one dude made that outcompeted the productions of full companies all thanks to game engines and this is BULLSHIT

but the worst place? fucking mobile phones because to make an 'app' you either make a game in HTML or you use a fucking drag and drop toy maker and all you need to do is design some pretty sprites and your shitty-ass gimmick game always outperforms a game made by a company even as big as zynga (haha fuckerssssss) and then that company loses all of the time they put into it because retards on their phone would rather play angry piggy bird epic knockoff number 8 for two weeks than farmville

this is all thanks to those shitty drag and drop game maker app salad things so get fucked zynga you've met your match in crap
