help me buy a console

idk if i should buy a PS4, 2DS or 3DS.

Wii U - don't want much games it has to offer
PS4 - looks like good shit, though have to pay for online npw
3DS - looks tempting, with pokemon x and y. dream team sucks
2DS - cheaper than 3DS, same 3DS games without the 3D effect, cant fold

dont bother with the 3DS until it gets more gamse, i have a 3DS and it's done nothing but collect dust because of its fucking horrible library. X & Y are great and all but one game is hardly going to get it out of the spot it's in right now. if you realllly want it then get a 2DS since it's way cheaper and has everything the 3DS has

PS4 is shit, wii u is funny but it might get better over time since nintendo seems dedicated to it

i think 2/3ds would be a no go until the end of it's lifespan but it all depends

ps4 isn't done too badly but yeah the ps+ and sony's indie dev obsession is fucking dumb but otherwise it's not too shitty

wii u i dunno what to say. it's a nice piece of hardware but i think the whole handling of it all fucking blows regarding third parties. things will likely change if the xbox one flops like a fish on land (especially considering publishers like ea are pretty much saying they'll want to fall back on the wii u along with the ps4 if it happens)

if ya really want some of the 3ds game bullshit get a 2ds and then get used to the form factor i guess? or if you're mechanically inclined take it apart and make your own case with a hinge

pretty sure it should cost just as much to have separate screens just reuse the ones from your dsi/ds lite lines that they sell for like $8

3ds resolution is a lot better so i don't think that would meet with their standards all that well

both on the ds line were 256x192

3ds has 800x240 for the top and 320x240 for the bottom lcd
