anyone remember this shit

last year some dude started selling the alpha copy of a game that was promised to have the survival/'freedom' of minecraft combined with sooper high quality grafix and guns and it ended up being delayed for half a year before anything actually happened to it

a spectacular failure

i suck dick at terraria i have no goddamned idea what im doing when i play it 3000% of the time

apparently terraria "plays well on WINE"

though "plays well on WINE" means that it doesn't cause a kernel panic and delete half your filesystem

terraria was hilariously broken because you could just edit shit into your inventory and wreak havok everywhere

inventory editors and shit terraria had zero protection against people snooping in their source code (it was made in .NET C# with XNA) so some dude found out that player files are easy as fuck to edit and the server doesn't check to see if you have 5000000000 sticks of dynamite and near infinite health

the game was still ridiculous if you gave yourself the best armor and weapons and shit that required weeks of work to get because they only provided very marginal defense improvements and then if you die it's gone forever

its a hell of a lot easier to die in it too

i wandered out to that place with purple grass and got killed i didnt even know what was going on i was fuckin pissed cuz i had so much good shit

worms with one eye and shit yeeah if you finish the game the world either gets filled with the purple grass everywhere or turns into rainbows and shit with unicorns that are almost completely unkillable running around

i only have like 7 hours on terraria. 2 dollars for it wasnt that bad. but 4 dollars for gaymod was a rip-off and my biggest mistake
