ogg is capable of the same audio quality at a fraction of the filesize, and it doesnt need bullshit proprietary formats to work

so why does everyone and their dick still encode audio in mp3?? fucking dumb

FLAC is like mp3/ogg but with marginally better audio quality at literally ten times the filesize

you only notice FLAC's lossless quality if you have 400 dollar headphones or speakers the size of the whitehouse west end
