the game looks fucking stupid

from what i understand it relies 100% on the shock value of a naked kid killing bloody fetuses with his tears with funny faces and it also runs really bad on my cousin's laptop even though it's basically a flash game

its a "roguelike" (not really though) with super shitty religious metaphor

i played it for a while and its fun if you can get over the fact that its a laggy piece of shit and that it throws around edgy shit to try and look kool

the game has good music tho

I remember popsiclecat going nuts talking about it and saying it was awesome because it was made by the same guy that made super meatball or whatever and then gave me a bunch of random facts about super meatball that i didnt care about

super meat boy was so shitty

and its developer is a DOUCHE he made a video of him throwing a literal tantrum (like he started punching his screen and yelling about FUCKING HATERS) because hes made a reputation of dismissing anyone who calls his shit game out on having faults as a troll and insisting that his game has no flaws

one person made a video of the game bugging the fuck out and he said it was 'fake' and the author was out to damage his solid gold reputation

the best part is that super meat boy was just a shitty platformer made in flash but he's convinced himself that it's the greatest thing since the invention of the weel

the indie idea is graphics and aesthetics are inversely proportional to the quality of the game multiplied by how epic win the publisher (not the developer) is

From someone who has Cave Story 3D it's worse than the fucking freeware version
the controls are more slippery and less precise and it doesn't have most of the bells and whistles of Cave Story +
on steam. The 3DS port is the same as cave story + but without the better resolution
