the purpose of posting on ROT

it's all passive-aggressive trolling attempts to try and get people to make threads about you

getting on a "MAH FAVORIT OTERS :DD" list or a "TOP TEN ROBLOX USERS!!" or even a thread bitching about you is equivalent to the ROTer as "Getting on the front page" is to a reddit/imgur user, or "getting a redditor to take a screenshot of my le epic limetext stories and post it on /r/4chan" is to a /b/ user. it's basically a huge as fuck circlejerk, at least redditors whore for karma by contributing something larger than "WOW FAG I HAVE MORE POSTS THAN U SO UMM SHUT UP? THX". quality discussion isn't it's forte, as examplified by ratiosu mentioning how "what forum/community you're on doesn't matter", it's posting for the sheer sakes of posting.

it's been that way since around mid 2009, and it always will be until roblox finally kills it off
