whats the difference between DDR2 and GDDR2 because I took out my old RAM and they're labelled GDDR2-667 (667 Im assuming is the MHz) and my new stick is plain old DDR2. there's no information on the internet, am confused

you should not have ram in your pc labeled gddr if it isn't soldered to your video card that must be g for g-skill or some other company with g in their name and referring to the model

gddr is for graphics RAM exclusively as far as i know
